Cute Baby Saturday- Disney Edition

We arrived in Florida at the relatives’ house at about midnight last night.  The drive went really well.  Elizabeth watched DVDs most of the trip and played with her toys and ate snacks, and didn’t fall asleep until 10:45pm.  And we won’t mention the fact that she didn’t get to sleep for good until two in the morning (and I didn’t get to sleep until after 2:45am) and woke up at 7:30am this morning, but overall, highly successful.

The trip is going very well so far.  This morning we went to Downtown Disney to shop and let Elizabeth run around.  I bought some nice things and Elizabeth talked us into a set of dolls from that Tangled movie, which she is obsessed with, even having only seen the preview.

How obsessed?  She declared that this Princess (who is Sleeping Beauty) is Rapunzel and kissed and hugged her.

And we rode the carousel.  Elizabeth rode once with Matt (not pictured) while I was getting lunch for us (The Earl of Sandwich- SERIOUSLY GOOD) and then she wanted to ride once with me on the “turny seat.”  According to Matt, we were “really hauling.”

I think we might have to take her on the tea cups on Monday, she liked this a lot.

Please note the Rapunzel and Rapunzel’s boyfriend dolls on the seat next to her, she refused to be parted with them.

We came home at about 1:00 in the afternoon and tried to get Elizabeth to take a nap.  She cried and cried and said “I need to go out dere!”  So I gave up and got her up.  We got in bed with Matt and he put a movie on his laptop.  I looked over about twenty minutes later and she had slumped into a deep sleep on Matt’s shoulder.  (Matt was already asleep.)  So I took a nap too and both dogs took a nap.  And then the relatives ordered Chinese food for dinner and we are having a relaxing evening.  Tomorrow, Dibits and I attack Barb and invade her house.
