A Diamond in the Sky

Every night before bed, Elizabeth and I sing Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star together.  We’ve been doing this since she was tiny.  (Well, when she was tiny, she just listened.)   She knows all the words (you would assume so after three years of hearing it every night) and she likes to sing along.  Other times, she tries to mess with me and sings a different song while I sing it.

Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star has also taught Elizabeth an important lesson.  This is a diamond in the sky:

It may look like a vent to you, but there are only two things on Elizabeth’s ceiling and she knows that one of them is called a light, so the other one must be the diamond in the sky that we are always talking about.
