Socks and Kitchen Appliances

Once, I told Elizabeth to take off her shoes before she got under a blanket.  Now she believes that she must have bare feet before being tucked underneath anything, so she absolutely insists that she remove her socks before getting into her sleeping bag or sitting under a blanket on daddy’s lap.

Rice cooker, yes or no?  And food processor.  Discuss among yourselves.  I’ve never owned either.

Matt and I don’t drink coffee.  We own a coffee pot and coffee for visitors, but A) I either forget to bring it out because coffee is not on my radar or B) people know we don’t drink coffee and bring along either a cup of coffee in a travel cup or packets of instant coffee for longer stays.  So we haven’t used our coffee pot at all in probably two years.  Should I get rid of it?  I feel like I should (taking up space!) but then I feel like a coffee pot is something that people should have.  Should I get rid of the coffee pot and the coffee pot accessories and just grab a small jar of instant coffee for the top shelf for those just in case times?
