Okay! Never mind! Not Wednesday! Thursday instead!
At my (final!) doctor’s appointment this morning, the doctor moved my scheduled induction from Wednesday to Thursday. The whole reason for this is because they’ve been getting a lot of trouble from the government lately about inductions before 39 weeks. And yes, I will be 39 weeks on Wednesday. But since I get to check in to the hospital the night before, the government considers that an induction at 38 weeks and six days, even though they aren’t actually starting the induction until the next day. Blah.
Do not give a planner a plan and then CHANGE IT.
So, we are now go for Thursday instead of Wednesday. I have to sort out ALL MY PLANS again. Humph.

Thursday! Baby! Yay! (Sorry about the change in plans. But YAY! Baby!)
Isn’t Thursdays child full of grace? I probably shouldn’t put any stock in that nursery rhyme since S was born on a Thursday and hasn’t been particularly grace like lately.
Regardless, yeah for babies! Enjoy your last few days with him on the inside ;)
I think Tuesday’s child is full of grace actually. I had a necklace when I was growing up. And I think it said that and I think I was born on Tuesday. I could just look all this up.
Thursday’s child has far to go. (And Tuesday is the grace one.)
And Wednesday’s child is full of woe. Which is appropriate because Elizabeth was born on Wednesday and she has a lot of woe. And WHOA. Maybe they really meant that kind of whoa? Because that would be even more appropriate.
Did you have plans for cheeks already in place? Maybe you and Matt could go do something nice like dinner/movie on Wednesday night. I totally get how fustrating it is for a planner to have your plan changed. You are so close now though…
Wishing you happy, healthy, EASY labor thoughts.
Bummer about the change of plans, but Yeah for a baby in just a few days! Soo close and so exciting! Cannot wait to hear all about the new little one and Big Sister Dibs! Hope you have an easy quick labor!
Holy moly! A baby this week!
Sorry for the change of plans. I’m the same way.
Maybe it will happen sooner on its own. I went into labor before both – one scheduled induction, another c-section.
Good luck!
Still soon! And more time for your gift to get there. :)
Baby! BABY! Yeeeeewe haw!
Sorry about the change in plans, but glad it isn’t a big change (I almost said “at least”).
Eeeeek! When they asked my doc why we were delivering at 35.6, you should have seen her face – high BP, twins, growth slowing, umbilical flow slowing, protein in urine, etc…..
Ok well Wednesday, Thursday… A bit of re-psyching but I’m sure you can do it. Good luck again!
Can’t believe it is already here!!! YAY!
I’m sorry about the change in plans; that’s a pain. Also – SQUEE!! New baby!! Hooray!!
Yay!!! Thursday sounds like a super day for a baby!
Yay for Thursday and a baby! (but boo about the change)
(And I totally just looked up what day of the week my husband, son, daughter, and I were born — Thursday, Tuesday, Monday, and Tuesday, respectively.)
Even I am irritated that I have to change the date in my head. Come on, people!
This is why we get along.
And honestly, this was my biggest annoyance too. Changing the date in my head.
I’m excited for you. I bet you can’t wait!
I hope you don’t have anything engraved or embroidered with the 26th… geez.
Hahaha! Now that you point it out, I actually tried to put “kid to be named later, born September 26, 2012″ in my revised will. But the editors took it out. IN MY WILL.
