Welcome to the Summer Block Party!

It’s summertime in the blogosphere and most of us are running around enjoying the extra daylight and (hopefully) a vacation or two. (I hope you are. Not me. I am not going on vacation this summer. We stay at home.) This can be a pretty quiet time on the interwebs (I am SO bored) so we decided to let you guys know that we are blogging this summer by throwing a summer block party! And since everyone likes presents, we decided to have a giveaway with lots of prizes and lots of chances to enter. Six bloggers teamed up with each other and AboutOne (Remember them? I did a review because they were pretty awesome.) to bring you:

I checked out AboutOne’s site and I think the thing that most interests me is the address book. I have lost more address books to cell phones that suffered unexpected deaths than I can believe. I have started keeping one in my external hard drive but having one that couldn’t be lost to fire or theft might be appealing.

I just 2 weeks ago had to go find all of my son that lives in Alaska immunizations for a work problem. *sigh* This way I could just click and look them up online instead of getting out their old baby book and checking.

The address book would be nice too since I don’t ever sync my phone so half of my contacts are on my phone and half on the computer. Knowing I could get to them from my phone and pc would make it very easy!
