Since my sister is here, we went to Six Flags today. It was hot and it was crowded, but it was not nearly as hot and crowded as I expected it to be at a theme park in Georgia on the Fourth of July. We did lots and lots of rides. Well, my sister and Elizabeth did lots of rides. Every single ride in the entire park had a warning against riding while pregnant, even the ones that they would let infants on. Which is ridiculous. But mostly I didn’t bother ignoring them. My favorite ride was the carousel because it was shaded and reasonably cool and had rocking chairs for spectators to sit in. I sat. It was great.

I love E’s bow. The carousel has always been one of my favorites. Today I woke up in the mood to go to Six Flags or Kings Dominion. Good thinking Jen! =)
I love the July 4 apparel – and hair bow! Super cute!
Love the bow!
I used to go to Six Flags all the time. Then, I had kids, and it didn’t seem like the best place to go when I have limited money and time. Of course, if I lived closer, I’m sure I would go more often.
Dibits is so stinkin cute in her festive outfit!
But, is she covering her ears because it’s loud? Allison does that all the time. She hates loud noises!
Maybe Ivy will wear bows.
Don’t give up hope! I had to wait a long time before I could get Elizabeth to wear them for more than a few minutes at a time.
You are a brave woman at the amusement park on the 4th in the heat!
